I love this quote by Claude Monet…he felt so passionate about his art and, while it might seem a bit strange to compare selling Real Estate to what Claude Monet did (he may be rolling over in his grave!), I can say with certainty that I know I’m equally as passionate about it as he was about art. It’s a popular buzz phrase these days – “what’s your passion?” Well, I truly LOVE this profession and I feel blessed each and every day that I get to help people get the LIFE they want and the HOME they deserve.
By the way, I know that you probably loathe typical real estate agent bios. Don’t worry, I do too! I’d like to take a slightly different approach and simply give you real answers to questions you’re probably wondering right now…
“Will You Return My Calls, Emails, Texts, etc?” – YES!!! Without question. I realize this is one of the major frustrations that people have in dealing with real estate agents. I return every communication as quickly as a possibly can.
“I’ve Met Many Realtors Who Are Unprofessional, Pushy, and/or Don’t Know How To Negotiate…What Are You Like?” – Never unprofessional, that one is easy. Pushy? Not to my clients, but maybe sometimes for my clients. I fight hard for my clients, so I probably have ruffled a few agents’ feathers. But pushy (or salesy-yuck!) aren’t part of my personality, business or otherwise. Selling a home (or helping a client buy a home) can always be a win-win situation, because we’re all trying to get to the same goal – the house sold for the seller and the home bought for the buyer. It’s good for everyone when that goal is met, so I keep that in mind all along the way. I can also tell you that I’m candid, approachable and friendly. And if you need a quick real estate brain, or a strong dose of honesty, you’re in the right place. Loyalty to family, clients, and friends is one of my core values, so as far as negotiating goes, I don’t let anyone mess with any of those people – I’ve got your back!

Bottom line is that I do care about my clients and many if not most become friends that I see on a pretty regular basis. It’s not about the transactions to me, it’s about the relationships that are created and the lives that are changed through the home-selling and buying process. It’s serious, life-changing stuff, and my goal is to absorb the stress, the worry, the challenges, as much as I possibly can for my clients so that they are thrilled with the customer experience and excited and happy at the closing table…and live happily ever after (until the next move!).
